Backtesting pivot studies HELP

I downloaded "PivotPointAllmonthly.efs " from the e-sginal file sharing; http://share.esignal.com/groupconten...ots&groupid=84

Trying to run a backtest and getting all values as "0" in the Strategy Analyzer.

What am i doing wrong.

Please help.

That efs does not include a strategy so it cannot be back tested as is.

This is my first time testing on e-signal so does this mean this program works only live.

If not how do I make it into a strategy. Or can you point me to the right link so that I can learn

That formula does not include any strategy logic (ie the conditions) and the relative commands (ie long, short, buy, etc).. These need to be written in for the formula to be used with the Back Tester.
To get acquaninted with the eSignal Formula Script (EFS) I would suggest going through the Help Guides in the EFS KnowledgeBase and in particular the Guide to Developing eSignal Strategies
