Missing Backtesting feature in 7.9.1

Hi all,

I upgraded to 7.9.1 only to find a very important feature was missing that was in 7.9.

In this version the details about daily results of a strategy are no longer displayed, only monthly and annual are display in the periodic anaylsis section.

This daily breakdown is critical to backtesting intraday results.

Is there a setting I missed that needs to be turned on to see this breakdown?

The Daily Summary has been added back to the Periodical Analysis tab. It should be available in the next installer.

Back TeEsting

Missing daily report on backtester. Also scripts we are developing which we have been back testing now show trades being exited befrore they were entered. Worked well (if the back test was right) on previous versions.

Does anyone have a clue when the new buld will be available with these things corrected?

Hello jmingt,

We're getting close to getting everything ironed out. We should have the 7.9.1 installer with the new Strategy Analyzer module updated within the week, or next week. I'll post an announcement in this forum when it becomes available.

backtesting probs

Hi

I see from the previous post that you would have a new release that fixes the backtesting within a week.

I note on the download page that there is no new release as yet, can you update on what the new goalpost is ?

Also do you have any plans to introduce a optimizer in the backtest, so that backtester can cycle through diferent lengths of indicator and find the best setting ?
