retrieving data??

There are 2 problems I am facing when I try to run a strategy:
i) sometimes I press "Test" button for many times but it still refuses to run
ii) sometimes when it runs, below msg is shown but then no bar is retrieved.

Run the back test on a chart that uses the same symbol, interval and Time Template you are selecting for the back test. This way the Strategy Analyzer does not have to download the data

How about the issue that the strategy analyzer refuses to run even though the "Test" button is pressed? Sometimes I need to close the program and reload and do all these several times to make it run. thx.

I would not know as I have never had that happen. Once I press the Test button the Strategy Analyzer starts running right away.
