I hv an EFS which is very resource-consuming (judging by the time the chart needs to load it upon start). When I try to backtest it with Strategy Runner with 20days data on a 5-min chart, the result shows up fine. However, when I try to run it with data more than 50days (24hours), it will run for like 15min. When the CPU/memory activity drops and the mouse cursor changes from "busy" to "normal", the result window still fails to appear. And if I click on the eSignal main window, it doesn't respond and just gives me a sound (attached) and I need to kill the task in task manager.
In my strategy, I make use of many indicators, and each is calculated in 3 different time frames (10, 30, 60).... I run with a 5min chart b'coz I want to get the signal every 5min.
