Question about BackTesting

I have a question about back testing. Does the back testing portion plot the trades on the charts for review? If it doesn't do that is there a simulation mode for doing this?

I am currently programming in MT4 and am tired of the problems associated with the back tester. I plan to code in C# or similar and do a port into a seperate platform for trade review and use broker API. Any suggestions or comments on this is greatly appreciated.

What appears visually on the chart is determined by your formula code. You can draw text, shapes, images, lines or change the colors of the indicators, price bars or background of the bar. You may want to review the Back Testing Tutorials, if you haven't already.
