Right now we can get Real-Time prices for underlying contracts in Excel.

For example, the current ES price is:
=WINROS|Last!'es #f'

How can I get Real-Time moving average and other indicator prices?

For example, I would like to get a Real-Time indication of where the current 10bar Moving Average of the ES is???

It should be something like:
=WINROS|Last!'es #f, MA(10,C)s'

Hello longb,

That link is part of our EFS (eSignal Formula Script) Reference material. What you're trying to accomplish needs to be done in the EFS Editor (Tools-->EFS). The formula Wizard does not support DDE currently.

After creating the EFS, it must be active in an Advanced chart in order to can get the data in your Excel spreadsheet.

Okay- I'm now able to get MA quotes for Equities - what would the symbol be for a futures contract???

=WINROS|EFS!movavg'Es #F'

Hello longb,

DDE formulas can't use special characters or spaces for the name. You need to avoid using these when building the name string that is used for the DDEOutput object. You can simply set the name to a fixed string like, "ESma," or you can use the string.replace() function to replace certain characters and spaces. See this post for a code example.
