  • Creating an RSI audio alert

the RSI indicator is important to my style of trading. I trade UK
stocks - LLOY and BARC mainly. I want to know if it is possible to set
an audio alert on the RSI for when it passes say above 60 and below 40
on a real-time chart, preferably both but either would be better than
nothing (I currently use esignal 73).
If so, is it possible to set this alert as a permanent feature which
does not need to be reset after every time it has been triggered?

    Many thanks

I think the attached efs does what you asked.
It will play a ding when RSI crosses above 60 and when it crosses below 40. FYI it was created using the Formula Wizard which you can use to view and/or edit the formula.
As an aside I would suggest considering an upgrade to version 7.4 as that will provide with a number of enhancements.

      RSI audio alert

      Thanks Alex,

i downloaded the RSI&sound file and saved it to my desk top. How do I import it into the program and set it up to activate my chosen stocks?

      Many thanks

Using Windows Explorer move the file to any one of the subfolders of the Formulas folder which is in the eSignal directory.
At that point you can apply it to any chart by right clicking the chart, selecting Formulas from the context menu and navigating to the subfolder in which you moved the efs.
