Painting the $tickq

I would like to plot a line chart for the $tickq and when it turns up, paint the line green and when it moves down, paint the line red.

I believe I have seen this done, but cannot find it.

Anyone able to point me to a formula, it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure there's one built to already do this... Here's a non-price study version, and if you are on 7.5 then you can overlay this in the price pane.
