email alert frustrations...

Has anyone mastered the email alert?

I've done the following:

1. Programmed an efs using Wizard.
2. Selected ALERTEMAIL on EVERYTIME event occurs.
3. Checked the EMAIL ALERT box on the VIEW/ALERTS page.
4. Set in the appropriate SMTP information.

Result - I can get the first event, but not subsequent occurences...

Hello RX,

It would be helpful if you would post your code. If you were able to receive one email generated by your formula, then the problem is most likely code related. My guess is that there may be some code logic preventing the subsequent calls of Alert.emal().

It just doesnt seem to work at all now... can't figure out the problem... doubt it's the coding... it's more likely something to do with the SMTP request...

My SMTP is:

smtp.fuse.net

It asked for the IP address, which I've not tried to enter... but I put in the above, and did get a few alerts... since then, nothing...

The "code" is right out of the Formula wizard... and I used the "this will happen everytime" line...
