It seems that the subject generate good interest from others as well.
I will give you my view and I invite others to express their support and/or bring new ideas as well.
First, I agree that the Wizard should not be "just an other editor".
However, either the Wizard and/or the editor should be a tool that helps those of us (that are not Java Script and/or efs Wizards) to write quick and correctly simple and common functions, without having to look through pages
of documentation (which many do not exist at this time).
Pesonally, I would prefer to be able to invoke the Wizard from within the
editor, in order to insert in my code simple functions like,
- generate alerts (text, sound or a sign on top/bottom of a bar),
- paint price bars or the plots generated,
- call other existing efs files/functions,
- declare variables, and let us use them in expressions (typical example are those vars we need to save for future reference)
- generate expressions
A good example of similar functionality is the Microsoft Access.
For the Wizard itself, I think that two modifications are imperative:
A. The Wizard should allow any, syntactically correct, efs file to open and
B. The Wizard should allow editing the generated code (now it is read only).
If these two modifications are implemented, a slew of other can be easily added (see list above for examples).
