Heikinashi2 EFS

There is a Heikinashi2 EFS under JasonK's formulas. It does a great job of coloring the bars. I understand the basics of Heikinashi calculations, but this EFS is doing much more. Is there a PDF anywhere or can someone explain how this EFS is calculated and how the smoothing works? T3? KAMA?

Hello Tim,

The initial formula, eSignal_HeikinAshi.efs, was based on an article published in the Feb. 2004 issue of Stocks and Commodities magazine. I would suggest acquiring that article from their website for starters. Then do a search here in the forums on Heikin* and you should find all the subsequent discussions and variations to this study that include the various smoothing methods. Hope this helps.
