Bid/Ask Volume EFS study mod question

When I load this EFS (BidAskVolume.EFS by Jason K)
It builds bars. Is there the same EFS but that backfills when you look at a stock? With this efs if I change symbols, the volume bars disappear and start s from scratch.

Unfortunately not. We no longer store historical bid/ask data on most servers so you can only collect that data in real-time.

Hi,

Linnsoft's Investor/RT is able to use eSignal as a data feed, and it computes very nice Volume Breakdown statistics using historical tick data.

1.) How are they able to do it?

2.) Can't eSignal also do it to be competitive?
