Trendlines, Support & Res efs studies

I would appreciate any help with the following questions.

1] The e-Signal Version 11+ charts contain a study, TrendLines.efs [under "Formulas"], whose length [under "Inputs"] is shown as 10. What does the 10 measure or refer to?

2] Could someone give me a link to a study showing horizontal support & resistance lines. [Please note, I am not referring to pivot lines.]

That parameter sets the number of bars used to determine the high or low pivot bars
