  • how to display volume on Y-Axis with less digits?

If using the default volume study, the volume on Y-Axis is displayed appropriately, for example, 1,080,293 is displayed as 1M, 20,029 is displayed as 20K, etc. However using my own efs to return volume as an indicator and color the higtogram volume bar using my own criteria, then the volumes are displayed in full, i.e., 1,080,293 is displayed exactly as 1,080,293. How can I modify my own efs so that it behaves like the default volume study does? Thanks.

    clearpicks,

You may want to include either the code from the EFS or attach the actual study itself so those who can provide help can see how the study is constructed. As a side note, eSignal 7.8 has the capability to display actual volume rather than an approximation. Here's a glimpse of how it looks...

7.8 is now in the Gold release and available for download here
