  • MA of ROC OF RSratio revision

Some time ago, I requested and received the following study that works great for me, but I was told that the MA is of the Relative Stregth Ratio and not of the ROC, so I am requesting that the following formula be revised so that the study is a MA of the ROC, and the ROC is of the Relative Strength Ratio. (Can this be done as a "builtin" study so that I can use the Formula Wizard and incorporate other "Builtin" studies?)

    thx a lot

As far as I understand it the results should be identical.
To verify this edit your original efs and in lines 77 and 79 replace vValue with vAverage. Then run the attached revision of your efs that is now set up to calculate the MA on the ROC and not on the Relative Strength Ratio. The resulting plots should be the same.
As to your second question it is not possible at this time to create this efs using the builtin studies as those cannot use an external symbol as a variable
