i would like to add a crossover alert to this particular efs but have not been successfull. can you please send me the lines to add to the code and placement for them. I have tried a few things and cant get through the errors that are generated. i would also like it to trigger one alert at the end of the bar closing only and then reset for 5 bars before activating again to eliminate noise. Thank you. jhamm

The attached revision of the DiNapoli MACD will trigger an alert when at the completion of a bar the Signal line crosses the MACD and will not trigger another alert until 5 bars have gone by.
All modifications have been marked in the efs

While we're on this subject, I've been trying endlessly to develop a price study that "plots" an MA type line, the value of which would be the value at which the MACD would reverse (cross in the opposite direction)...
The ideal EFS would be able to modify the values (26/9/13, etc)...
