I cant get excel to obtain an EFS study, I tried to use the code that jason corrected as an example. What file do I save it under and what exactly do I enter in the excel cell (=eSignal|!movageibm) example did not work , I had a chart running of the study. Jasons corrected study of the Tbond moving averages did not work either, I think I am calling it wrong.

    Hello millydog,

You need to have an EFS that create the DDE link running on an advanced chart. All EFS files need to be saved to \eSignal\Formulas\.

Once the EFS is active in the advanced chart enter the excel formula similar to the following format.

    =eSignal|EFS!movavgIBM

In your post it looks like you left out the "EFS" portion in the excel formula. See if that fixes the problem.
