Greetings.
I have posted this question before, and I figured I could explain it better before I give up on figuring this thing out!
I am trying to find out if e-Signal has an indicator or if there can be an EFS created that is similar to an indicator offered on TradeStation 8 (TS8) called Pivot High (and Pivot Low). TS8 defines the indicator as below:
The Pivot High study identifies high pivot points and places a dot at the high price of a bar when the high price is greater than the high price of "x" previous bars as set in the numeric options and high price of "x" previous bars and also greater than the high price of the "x" subsequent bars as set in the numeric options.
Attached screen shot of the TS8 shows the red balls identifying pivot highs and cyan balls identifying pivot lows based on calculating the same using the previous 8 price bars on a 60 tick chart.
