efs calculating the 50% range

Can anyone help me write an efs that will calculate the 50% range of a bar and place that info in the cursor window.

I have no experience with JavaScript, and I have been looking at the formulas in eSignal. But sadly I am no closer to writing anything that works. Any help would be much appreciated.

You don't really need an efs to do that.
Just use the Donchian Channel available in the Basic Studies and set it to a Length of 1, check Midpoint display and uncheck Channels display

If instead you don't like seeing the Donchian Basis line here attached is an efs of the same Donchian study that will plot a grey dot at the midpoint of each bar, so it is unobtrusive while the values are still visible in the Cursor Window.
FWIW this efs was created using the Formula Wizard.
