  • McClellan Summation Index

I would like to find out if there is any efs of the Mcclellan Summation index available.

    The calculation is as follows:

    Summation Index = 1000 + (10%Trend - 5%Trend) - ((10 x 10%Trend) + (20 x 5%Trend))
    where:
    5%Trend = 39-day EMA of (Advancers-Decliners)
    10%Trend = 19-day EMA of (Advancers-Decliners)

Will one be able to also use in realtime say 5 min etc?

Thank you very much in advance

    Hi fanie,

Yes there is. If you perform a search on McClellan you will find posts referencing the oscillator as well as the summation index (along with links to the efs's). Here is a demo on how to perform the search. I hope this is helpful.
