I would like an indicator that approximates as much as possible the proprietary formulas Gloabaltec uses in its 4xMadeEasy software. They claim to use the current period OHL, Previous C, Uptick (Bids/Ask), Downtick (Bids/Ask), and volatility. They plot two smooth lines that don't plot on a scale. In action they look like smooth moving averages but do not match any indicator I have tried so far. All the indicators I have come across do not mix the Uptick/Downtick or volume with price action. I would like this to work with spot forex. Interesting that their product does not plot volume for Daily, weekly and monthly data yet they do plot their two smooth lines that seemingly incorporate volume some how. Any suggestions. I am a begginer at Java & EFS however I was a programmer in a former life in other languages. Preferably I could modify it to signal multiple time frames. I think I am asking a lot but if anyone has some ideas to explore I would appreciate it greatly.
