  • SMA of %k and %d lines

    does anyone know how to create a study/formula to calculate SMA's of %k and %d lines ... i am interested in their cross..thanks in advance

    You may want to try using the Formula Wizard which makes it relatively easy to program this type of study.
    For information and instructions on how to use the Formula Wizard see the Formula Wizard Guide in the EFS KnowledgeBase which also includes an illustrated example on how to create studies on studies.
    If you encounter any problems post your efs and someone may be able to assist you

      thanks - ques re wizard

      i did use the wizard .... created the stochastics...added sma as study but could not determine how to point the sma to the stoch...the sma only gave me the option to use open, high, close, etc.......do you have specific solution?

        The enclosed animated gif shows you what you need to do in the Formula Wizard to base the moving average study on another study (in the example the Stochastic %K and %D).
        FWIW this is the same process explained in the Example #1 Study on Study (MA of RSI) which is in the Formula Wizard Guide
