$$$candlestick Reversal Efs?

Could someone build an efs study that would set off an alert when this criteria is met..

(For a long trade.reversal alert)

When the candlestick closes below the low of the previous candle..

(For a short trade..reversal alert)

When a candlestick closes above the high of a previous candle..

the only one like this i found on the boards doesn't meet this criteria and didn't work well...giving alerts at odd times that didn't make sense..

SO COULD SOMEONE BUILD A NEW ONE USING THIS CRITERIA?

I am not an expert and am learing programming myself.

I have compiled the attached efs according to my understanding of your request.

Have a look to see if that is what you are aftert and reply back accordingly.

Doesn't work unfortunately

thanks for trying to make the efs..but i see a bunch of "B" for buys and "S" for sells at the wrong points..

If you have 5 candles open and close higher than the previous high on the last candle no signal should be given..

It will help if you say precisely what you want.

Your first post say distinctly "When the candlestick closes below the low of the previous candle.." and visa versa

Now you talk about 5 candles open and close higher than the previous high, which is not the same thing as the first post.

Further more for the candle to open above the previous high it means that there will be a gap between the previous close and current open. I do not say that is imposible but on the charts I use not common at all.

If you can give a better description of exactly what you want it will help a lot.

goes off while candle is still moving..

can it be altered so it only goes off if the candle closes and meets the criteria????..

right now it will go off if a candle is still moving..even if the candle doesn't close and meet the criteria..

Anyone know how to add a pop up alert?

Now it will calculate on the close of the bar.

Will see if I can do something on the pop up window, but not today.

FALSE ALERTS

OPEN THE PICTURE..FOR SOME REASON IT GAVE ME A FALSE ALERT AT THE OPEN OF THE 3:00 CANDLE EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO REVERSAL..

when i check back in history it seems to label all the buys and sells correctly based on the criteria but live..when the candles are painting..it doesn't give accurate alerts..

Can someone fix it?

giving false alerts

this alert continues to go off every time a candle closes below the previous low....i just want it to go of when it reverses from buy to sell..or vice versa..not tell me every time a buy candle is done painting or every time a sell candle is done painting

can someone correct this?
