  • EFS for intergrated trading!

    Ahoy!

I'd like a way (via EFS?) to send trades to TWS/Interactive Brokers plugin with a single shift click of the mouse directly on the chart I happen to be viewing. Or any good SINGLE click order entry method. I scalp fast moving stocks and time is of the essence! Is there a EFS to handle this ALREADY? I did not see one. I have the IB plugin but you still have to bring up the manual order window and click submit.

P.S. eSignal file search leaves a lot to be desired.. since there isn't one!!

    Hello Geoff,

Have you tried the Attached Order Ticket?

Through EFS you could use the drawing function, drawTextRelative() to draw a text button on the chart that when clicked will execute a user-defined functions in your EFS that intern uses the Generic Broker functions to place the orders. To specify the EFS user-defined function to execute add the following string to the end of the text button's text parameter (+"@URL=EFS:FunctionName").
