Tape speed

Hi,

I am looking for a EFS that measures the tape speed (Time and Sales). What I need is to know is how many ticks in a define time interval. For example, how many ticks are in a 5 seconds interval?. This way I can measure the tape speed.

I have searched the forums, but all I find is tick counters.

The number of ticks in any fixed time interval, seconds, minutes, hours, etc., vary with trading activity.

Because an EFS can execute on each trade/tick you can count the ticks, keep tracks of time difference and calucalte the speed/rate.

Another approach is using tick interval charts, where you can have a new bar built ever x ticks. A 10T tick chart interval draws a new bar ever 10 ticks, so the time difference from newbar to new bar divided by the number ticks is the rate.
