  • stochastic %k 2colors: rising and falling...

    hello.

    i need help.
i just came back to using esignal,

and i'd simply like the stochastic %k line to have one color -green, when rising, and another color -red, when falling.

i found many efs studies, but this is a pretty basic feature and i couldn't find any efs example for it...

    please help,
can you give me the script i can add to the basicStoch.efs?

and i'm sure this would be very helpful to many new eSignal traders since in most software this set-up is available by default.

    thanks!

    Hi Oceantrader,

Try the attached study to see if it's what you are looking for. Of course, you can change the colors, etc.

          well...
thanks, but actually i realized this is not what i was looking for !

in your study the %k line does not
simply have 2 different colors when rising versus falling,
wich is what i'm looking for.

colors change for different other technical reasons wich i don't know.

          thanks

            Daniel,

try this - the coloring of lines up vs. down is best done with instantcolorline.

            hope that helps (hth)

                builtinstoch(colorbar)-2.efs HELP!!!

This script is exactly what I have been looking after failing numerous times in trying to create it on my own. Is there any way to make the %K line a simple one color solid line and %D a dotted line showing the rising-falling color change from red to green???

                Regards,

                Ken Pollard

                  Ken,
try this and note how the changes are made in the script if you need to make additional changes
