Without seeing either chart (and/or the related Time Template) I can only assume that you have different Time Template settings for the 1 minute and 5 minute intervals one set to chart only the regular trading session and the other set to chart all the available data [ie including pre and post market sessions].
As I suggested in an earlier reply you may want to review the article on Time Templates (see the link in a previous post) as what you are describing is related to the data you are loading in the chart and not to how the efs is calculating the indicator. As an aside the efs will only use a number of bars equal to the user defined periods to prime the indicator

-I open esignal
-open a chart with any symbol
-add formula/library/RSIenhenced 10 period
-click on 1 minute chart
right-click/data-export

I can see that the close prices used to prime the RSI calculation start at 9:30 the day before and include only close within the market hours

-change to 5 minutes chart
-right-click/data export

now the close prices used to prime the RSI calculation are the last 300 including those before 9:30 and after 16:00

Can you tell me how I could follow esignal to get the same results ?
