  • requesting help in developing EFS buy/sell signals

1- How can an EFS buy/sell signal (such as a vertical line, bright green/red, strength 5) be generated on a stochastic indicator when %K reverses up/down, relative to previous line closure?

2- How can an EFS buy/sell signal (such as a vertical line, bright green/red, strength 5) be generated on a ratio study (created in Tools, Continuous Contract Settings) added to a chart as a line, when it reverses up/down, relative to previous line closure? The ratio study is ($ISSU / $ADV).

3- How can an EFS buy/sell signal (such as a vertical line, bright green/red, strength 10) be generated on a chart when it is the result of buy/sell lines generated 1 and 2 above being in agreement - that is: a stochastic %K green buy line occuring at the same time as a ratio green buy line?

From my experience, this requires the development of advanced logic (although sometimes it can be rather simple) to handle WHEN triggers are fired and when they are reset.

All of what you have requested is possible. The only thing I'm not sure of is the "ratio" issue. This might have to be handled with unique data sources internally within an efs instead of externally as you have described.

Developing advanced "trading systems" requires all the necessary logic and features to properly handle all aspects of the system's operation. This can sometimes include many features you have not disclosed.

    Hope this helps.
