  • signal from one time period displayed on another time period

I am confused as to how to get an EFS signal from one chart to appear on another. For example, say I am using a stochastic crossover strategy from a 15min chart, but I want the long/short arrows to appear on a 3min chart. Thanks in advance!

You can base a study [built-in or custom] on an external symbol and/or interval [ie a symbol and/or interval that are different from the one being charted] using the sym() or inv() functions.
For the syntax and examples on the use of these functions see the links to the corresponding article in the EFS KnowledgeBase. For specific examples on the use with built-in studies see also the formulas that are included in the EFS2 Custom folder of Formulas as these are already set up for use with external symbols and/or intervals. You can use these formulas as the base for your specific script by implementing the required logic
