Fixed $TICK chart range possible?

I'm trying to force my $TICK chart to always display from -1200 to + 1200 regardless of what the range of the tick values are for the day. Can this be done with the tick as the 'parent' symbol in the chart, or do I have to plot the tick via an efs with the set StudyMax,Min commands to do this?
