tick volume

I would like to build an indicator based on tick volume. Is there a way to do this? I'm interested in keeping track of how much volume was traded at a particular tick price in a 5 minute bar, for example.

This would be basically like a volume profile. I would need to access the price time and sales data, I think. How do you do that?
