Hi,

Have you noticed that if you switch time frames in the same chart..the center line of the MACD will change position. Is there an efs for 10.6 ..or way of making the MACD stay in position so the center line (pictured in yellow in the pics) always locked in place. Visually this makes is easy when you have different time frame charts next to each other to know where the MACD is..

The charts below are for a 10 min and 2hr..as you can see the 10 min center line happens to be in the center...but if you switch to the 2 hr..it is no where near center..

Any ideas?

for further clarification i would like all the center line's of the macds to stay at the same point in the middle of the study. The center line/midline should not move or adjust in any way.

The following screenshot illustrates one way to do this.



You can use the logic provided in this example and apply it to whatever MACD study you may be using [you will likely have to rename the variables as necessary]
Keep in mind that in this example the centering is based on the entire MACD series as efs does not have a way to determine how many bars you are viewing at any one point and time and dynamically readjust based solely on the viewed portion
Anyhow the results are shown in the image enclosed below. As you can see in both the 10 minute and daily charts the 0 value [which is essentially maintained equidistant from the upper and lower boundaries of the pane] is at the same location irrespective of the scale
