Volume Alert

Would appreciate any help or reference as to how I could get an alert, visual and audible, when the volume of a given bar exceed the prior bar volume by a definable multiple

See if the attached works for you. You can adjust the percentage increase to whatever you want, for example, use 0.20 for a 20% increase

Volume Scan edit

How would adjust the volume scan alert to make it use 20 period average volume instead of just a one bar look back... would really make it much better. thanks in advance,

See if the attached does the 20 ma of the volume instead of volume(-1)
