    Is there anyway I can plot 21ema in more than one color.
    I would like to see, different colors, going up/down/sideways.
    The direction change of 21ema would be easily detectable,
    especially in trending markets. Any help, much appreciated.

    Thanx

    Yes it is possible. However you need to define the conditions for up, down and sideways. For some it is just the current value being higher/lower than the previous, for others it also includes the prior being higher than the one before that, etc.
    You should be able to easily do this with the Formula Wizard

      Re: Reply to post '21ema in multicolor'

      Hi Alexis..

      Thanx for replying to my thread promptly.

      The color for 21ema should change, as soon as
      the current bar close value changes from the previous
      bar close value.

      If the current bar closes higher than the previous bar,
      the color should change;

      If the current bar closes lower than the previous bar, the color should
      change;

      If the current bar closes with the same value as the
      previous bar, the color should change.

      Thank you.

        The attached efs should do what you asked
        It was created with the Formula Wizard which can be used to view/edit the script.

          In reading your message again I am not sure as to what defines the color of the MA. I assumed that by "close value" you meant the value of the MA at the close of a bar which is what the efs uses. If instead you meant the Close (as in price) then the efs needs a slight change which can be easily implemented with the Formula Wizard
