  • Japanese Candlestick Patterns

Is it possible to wright an efs which can detect on a chart different chart patterns like evening stars, doji's,hanging men and similar patterns with a small text identifying the pattern next to it

This will be really helpful- mainly looking for the application on daily charts

    Thanks ever so much

        Hi Deprezcentral,

I'm no candlesick finaatic though what doji offered was a bit too much for my liking ,I'm only interested in some major candle patterns and what you seem to have is a start. However, what process do i need to go through in order to see those formulas on the chart , at the moment all i can see is a grey background with a ton of formula script .Plz tell me what steps i need to take to place the formula on my chart

        many thanks for the help

Ps doji no offense i appreciate the help but the cost for that data is way too much and is more than what i need at this moment..

click on candles.efs hangahmmer.efs and/or stars.efs and when prompted, save them into the eSignal/formulas directory.

                What time frame to use?

The EFS scripts are kind of jumbled...

                  Scripts work fine here.
they look funny on the web because they are *.htm not *.efs
