I'll see what I can do with regards to your points 1 and 2.
As far as alerts on drawn lines are concerned these are not available at this time. However they have been requested also by others and if I am not mistaken eSignal has indicated they are looking into adding that feature

The attached revision of the efs now triggers an alert when crossing the threshold either way.
As in the prior formula the sound will mute after playing 100 times or the MUTE button has been clicked.
A side effect of the new logic is that the button now mutes and unmutes the sound.
If one wants to see how the switches are working open the efs, uncomment lines 77 and 78 and save the file. Then open the Formula Output Window and load/reload the efs in the chart. The items that will appear in the Formula Output Window are vFlag1 which is the switch to trigger one time only either way the Trigger Alert List, vFlag2 which is the switch for the sound and vCounter which counts the number of times the sound has played.
Under normal usage I would suggest that the debug lines be left commented out.

          Alexis,

I tried the basicadxdmalert3 today and it worked perfectly !!!

Now I can sit by the pool, hook up my computer audio to my stereo, turn up the volume to 11 and just wait for the adx audio alert to tell me that conditions are starting to favor a trade environment.

          Thank you very much !!

            Alexis,

While using basicadxdmalert3 and going into edit studies, there is not an option to make the adx a histogram or "uncheck" the DMI boxes so that I do not see the DMI lines. The basic study of ADX/DMI that came with 7.4 does have this available under Edit Study. Being that I do not use the two DMI lines it would be great to turn these off and I have found that the ADX looks better for my trading needs as a histogram. Any suggestion ?

            Thank you.

That is because I did not code those settings when I wrote the script. EFSs are slightly different from the Basic Studies which are hard coded in the application.
Never the less let me look into it and I should be able to add those options

The attached revision of basicadxdmalert3 now has the switches to turn on/off the +DI and -DI and to plot the ADX as a histogram
If interested you can compare the two scripts side by side to see how these changes were implemented.

                  Thanks again. Works great.
I'm trying to find time to compare the scripts to learn where to modify for simple changes.

                      Tradersavvy,

One can edit an EFS Formula through the EFS Editor. This is useful for making changes to a previously downloaded EFS. Once the Editor has been opened, you can recall the formula you wish to edit. Once edited, re-save the EFS and you'll be on your way.

Thanks but this does not help me at all.

I have opened the editor on several EFS and I do not know what any of that stuff means. If I knew that a basic computer language knowledge was required to enhance Esignal software before I bought it, I probably would not have bought it.

I will take the time to search for EFS's that I need but as far as taking the time to figure out the language to create these EFS's is ridiculous to me. So far Alexis and others have been very helpful in pointing people to areas to find what they want. This is acceptable customer service to me.

                        Thanks.

                          TraderSavvy,

You may want to go through some of the short online videos that may help through some of the basics of EFS. More specifically, take a look at Section VI and go through Formula Studies Part 1&2. We also have the EFS Help Center and Library, which also may be of assistance.

Alexis, can you assist with this ?

I have tried, as you know, to create these myself and to no avail.
I'd actually like the audio alert to go off on the touching of a Keltner band, not piercing, with being able to adjust the std dev.

If it audio alerted for 100 ticks (like the ADX one you made) and then reset, that would be awesome.

                            Hope you can help Alexis.

                            Thanks.

The attached revision of KeltnerArEmaAdj.efs will sound a ding when either band is touched.
