apology for caps use

About 2 months ago, I submitted a new thread and used all Capital letters. Just today, I found a message from one of the members kindly informing me that this means shouting which I did not know and was not my intention. Being new to this whole bulletin board process , please forgive my inexperience and ignorance. Thank you.
