Writing to the alert list

For some reason my alert list is not working anymore. I have several studies that used to send alerts to it and it would pop up, but this doesn't seem to work anymore?


Any ideas?

On the main menu select Tools->EFS->Alert List. Does the Triggered Alert List window appear?
If yes right click in it and make sure that Popup on Alert is checked

If instead the Alert List does not appear close eSignal and the Data Manager.
Then go to the Windows directory and make a copy of winsig.ini and store it in a safe place.
Once you have done that open the winsig.ini file in the Windows directory and look for a section similar to the following

[AlertListDlg]
top=168
bottom=300
left=67
right=335
Visible=No
[AlertList]
highContrast=0
lineMode=1
topMost=0
popupOnAlert=1

You can either delete this whole section or replace the relevant parts with

top=0
bottom=150
left=0
right=250

Save the file, close it and start eSignal. The next time you open the Triggered Alert list it should be visible.
