  • Setting alarm for MACD HIST

Is there a way to set an alarm for a change in the direction of the MACD HISTogram study???? MK

There are many ways to do that but you need to define what a "change in direction" means to you
For example the attached efs will trigger a sound alert if at the completion of a bar the last bar was lower than the previous one and that one was higher than the one before (or a mirror condition of the above)

Thanks Alexis....it sounds like that is what I'm looking for...problem is I'm havinf trouble opening it. If I save it and then go to open it...nothing happens. Same if I just try to open it directly? Not sure why. MK

What are you trying to open it with?
Just to make sure I downloaded it and saved it to one of the subfolders of Formulas and I could open it without any problems using the Editor.
