  • Parabloic SAR in 1 tick chart

When plotting Parabolic SAR in a 1 Tick chart the indicator seems NOT to work properly.

On a higher time frame it works.

When charting Parabolic SAR in TS2000i on a 1 Tick chart the indicator looks fine.

Any idea if I am doing something wrong or if the efs code is not ok.

    Thanks
    MK

As far as I can see it appears to be working pretty much in the same way as it does in TS2k

Here you are. Again the differences are marginal at best.

FYI the images you enclosed inline are not visible to others (see image below).
You need to upload those images to a group in File Sharing and then link them to the posts here in the Bulletin Board

If you use T as the interval you should also plot the Bid and Ask else you will get that kind of behavior. Once you plot those the Parabolic will work correctly (see image below).
If instead you do not wish to see the Bid/Ask plots then use 1T (ie "rawtick") as the interval rather than T and you will see the Parabolic work as it does in TS2k (as shown in the prior images)

                  Hi Alex,

many thanks for clarifying the difference between Tick and 1Tick.

This is what I was missing.

                  Thanks
