  • Get pop up window when from efs code

I would like to be able to use pop up window from esignal efs.
Like one idea: When A > B then pop up window "Would you like to buy" |yes| |no| then selection is sent back to efs code.
I zoom this isint very hard but any ideas what is the best way to use in the efs code.
    Hope this is clear.

    Many thanks, Baldur

    Hello Baldur,

We do not currently have a feature in EFS that would allow us to do what you're asking. It's a good idea, however. Please submit a suggestion to add such a feature to [email protected].

I have coded something simialr to this using DynaOrder. A pop up box would come up - buy or sell - and if you click it an order would be sent to IB and the box could be turned off.

Dloomis thanks for your reply, I am also thinking this for confirming automatic trading using dynaorder.
Did you write your own dll or small program which would be called from an efs strategy? If not, how did you go about it?

        Thanks,

        Baldur

I may have some of the teminology wrong, but DynaOrder is a dll you call (it is actually located in the erfs as a stand alone section)from the efs. Then you write buy, sell orders with efs type commands that the DynaOrder system understands what to do with.

            check out....

Chris Kryza (sp?) offers a utility that can do this...

Check out www.specialtyscripts.com and look for it. I believe this is exactly what you want.
