Removal of Study when not listed

How do I remove a study from a chart if it is not listed on the Remove drop down box?

Every once in a while I add a new study with fatal errors. The study get placed in the lower pane, even though I have

setPriceStudy(true);

Then I fix the error and reload, but the study is still in the lower panel - and it is not listed on the remove drop down box.

After removing the study that works try renaming it and loading it again.
Then do a Remove All Studies.

By renaming it I meant the study's title not the name of the file itself, unless you did not give the study a title in which case then try renaming the file.

I think in the past I have recovered from this situation by deleting the study BEFORE I fixed it up.

There is an easier way. Just remove the chart from the layout, and then open it again.
