Changing Pen Style doesn't work

I'm trying to change the pen style from PS_SOLID to PS_DASH in the downloaded file "MR_MovLinReg2.efs". I can successfully change the color, line thickness, etc, but the change to the pen style does not take effect. The drawn lines are always solid. The changes I've made are in line 153, 161 and 163 of the file.

I know a bit about programing, but not in Javascript, so I'm probably missing something simple somewhere.

If this is not the correct place to submit this question, please advise.
