Market Scanner

I'm considering adding the Market Scanner feature to my current subscription. I have a specific use in mind.

I have an custom indicator that I would like to apply to each of the SP500 stocks. At the end of the scan, I would like to do some statistics on the results. This indicator has 3 states, up, down, flat - so I can count the number of stocks in each state.

The question is "Can I perform a scan using a custom indicator, on a custom list of stocks?"

I am aware of the current limit of 5 stocks with your EFS JavaScript language. - does the scanner feature remove that limit?
