EMA of MACD Hist

I am having difficulty getting this indicator to display properly.

The formula is simply an EMA of the Absolute value of a MACD Histogram. The indicator does not display when applied to a chart unless I scroll back through the chart so that it loads more data. Once the indicator is loaded it disappears if I reload it.

Is there a way to fix this?
