Chart Scales

Is it possible to read into an EFS which is plotting a price chart ( and preform subsequent calculations on the data) the then current chart scale on a tick chart running in real time? For example to read in the min / max and increment of the chart as of the last tick? I realize that changing the size of the chart could change this data so the question is for a chart that is running but there is no changes in size or configuration which would alter the scale. The scale would only change due to real time activity.

as far as I know...

there is no way to GET the Y axis of any particular chart.

You could scan for the highest high/lowest low for n periods and assimilate some data this way. Are you trying to accomplish some specific task?
