  • Importing Data.

Is there a way to get data from excel or a flat file into esignal so I can chart it.

I have a screener that kicks out picks based on the fundamentals.
I want to take those symbols then bring them into esignal so I can run them through my technical charts program and then through dde link them back into excel for a final daily report

    I believe....

there is a way to import a list of symbols into an eSignal QUOTE window. From there you can use the quote window to pull up charts. But you can't directly import symbols to a chart - sorry.

You'll have to ask an esignal technician for instructions to import symbols into a quote window. I don't know how to do it.

      Hello jnorton/Brad,

Try the Dynamic Quote file. See this post from Duane on how to set this up.
