  • Bar colouring problem

I colour bars according to a macd. In real time however the bar changes as the bar forms (1 min brs). I have set the default color as blue and my above and below the base line of the macd as red and green respectively.
However blue never appears. I would only like to see the colour of the bar upon close- up to that point I would like it to be blue.
Alexis has kindly told me about setcompute on close but still I only get red and green.
    Any help much appreciated.

I don't think it can be blue even if you set it to compute on close only. In this case it would retain the color of the prior bar until it can verify that the condition is still the same or has changed.

If what you want is to have the bars colored in lime or red only at the crossover of the MACD (as in the following image) then the attached revision of your efs should do that.
