SymbolCompare efs

This is the chart I mentioned in my PM.
The SymbolCompare efs was what I used to put the TICK chart in the ES price chart. When I compare this with a separate TICK chart, the values do not come close to lining up. If you can solve this issue, would it be possible to "attach" an additional indicator on the TICK chart that gives TIKI extremes? The formula I have for TIKI extremes is ticki.efs

Time Templates

Hello cereus,

The problem you are seeing is related to the time templates that your charts are using. SymbolCompareAsNPS.efs cannot work properly with a 24-hour time template. Apply one of the Equity RTH time templates to your charts and the data will match. See below.




As for your ticki extremes formula, please post your existing code for ticki.efs and describe the details related to this formula.

Here is the TIKI extreme formula you requested.
It paints a green icon on the NYSE Tick chart when the TIKI reaches a value of (> +24), and a red icon when it reaches (< -24)

The enclosed chart uses the Equity RTH-West Coast time template.
Interval (I-default) #Days (dynamic) Start and End (Auto)
After comparing the same ES 1 min chart with another trader, the conclusion was that the Tick and price chart time intervals or time frame, do not line up.

Is the other trader also using eSignal? If so, could the two of you post your charts here covering a time frame that will show the two ES 1-minute charts' data is not lining up? It is possible that the two of you are connected to different data servers. One of which may have a piece of data out of range. This does happen from time to time. If you can pinpoint the specific symbol's interval, date and time, please post the information to our Data Inquiries forum.

Thank you for including the ticki.efs, but it does not help. I wanted the TIKI extremes to overlay the TICK chart in the bottom panel; not the price chart
