close(0, "ES #F")

When I try to get data for ES 5min in an $add 5min chart using

close(0, "ES #F")

I only get about 10 days of data. The same is true the other way around. I have both ES and $add 5min charts open with at least 60 days of data. Is there a way to get all the data for another symbol into a chart?

If you are trying to use the EFS2 function the correct syntax is close(0,sym("ES #F"))
With regards to backfilling data of an external symbol and/or interval see this thread
